Case study

For Black History Month 2022, the Jordan Brand and Nike partnered with Foot Locker to create a campaign that celebrated black history, while also empowering future pioneers and change makers within the black community.

InZone Agency worked with the collective marketing teams to support their end to end needs to bring this campaign to life.

We started where we always start, the consumer. As an agency everything we do is insights led, the consumer is the initial voice, but also present throughout our whole strategic process. Thereafter we worked with our hugely talented creative strategists to create a strategy that meets the brands needs, while also being authentic to the consumers’ voice.

This led us to creating an in-store activation that brought together the local basketball community to discuss mental wealth within the black community, underlined by basketball as a connecting narrative. The event and content output was hugely successful with many people present asking for more events like this in the future. What we were most proud about was to deliver a Black History event with 100% black suppliers and talent.
